The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) joined with St. Joseph’s Voice & Swallowing Center and John Hopkins University to develop an assessment of swallowing disorders. They asked DDA Medical to design, develop and program an eLearning platform to be used in universities and hospitals worldwide to teach and certify physicians in this revolutionary method of assessing these disorders. The result is this multi-layered presentation that culminates in testing and access to the next level of patient assessment. The presentation includes 73 embedded fluoroscopy videos with 73 synchronized 3D animations, all with narrations and supplementary content. There are 15 full-length swallowing studies and 20 individual studies included in this platform, as well as a full practice area and reliability testing area. Once physicians pass the reliability testing, they will gain access to the private patient database where information can be reported and shared within that hospital or university if needed.
