DDA build this interactive orientation tool for the United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General (USPS OIG) in 2011 to ease the transition into new employment with this government agency. Whether the employee in question is a new hire to the federal government, was transferred from the postal service or another federal agency, or was selected as a part of a student cooperative, this tool organizes all the important paperwork that USPS OIG employees will need to begin employment. DDA hosts the online tool so that the information is accessible 24/7. The interactive orientation tool features a Flash-based navigation menu that delivers the exact PDF forms that each employee will need based on their responses to a series of questions that help to narrow down their employment type. DDA programmed these PDFs to be input-enabled and savable so employees can complete the forms on their computers and print them for HR or save them for future reference. This comprises the second online tool developed by DDA for USPS OIG, the first having dealt with all the forms related to retirement benefits. Through both of these interactive tools DDA has made both hiring and retiring employees in the USPS OIG faster and easier than ever before.
